The 3 Types of Nostalgia
been feeling it lately. my parents are starting to talk about moving out of my childhood home. all our old stuff will have to move too, and i can't keep it all. i know i won't actually miss most of it, but i'll miss it all a little. that adds up, man!
reminder: smiling ribs updates are currently occasional! i'm working more regularly on my other comic project, blue-eyed haiku.

happy new year! saw star wars! i liked it, for the most part. i miss the days of puppets and little models though. cgi characters still look too shiny and fake.

Merry Post-Christmas! I didn't really have a Christmas strip ready, but here is one with a hobo cat.
ALSO: IT'S TAG TEAM TIME! Starting in January, I'm going to be swapping the roles of Smiling Ribs and Blue-Eyed Haiku for a while. The haiku will be the regular updates, on Fridays, and the Ribs will be occasional. This is for two reasons:
1. To ease the drawing workload on my recovering arm. (Haiku are simpler!)
2. Just for a change of comicky pace.
Sooo look forward to that (or dread it) and have a great holiday season!
